When you’re setting brick pavers, often times you will need the assistance of a rubber mallet to level out some of the more stubborn bricks to get that nice, smooth surface. Sometimes, those stubborn bricks need a good whacking to sink just right. Sometimes you get interrupted by a neighbor mid-swing and make mistakes on where that mallet is going to land.
Don’t hit your own fingers with a hammer, kids; not even with a rubber mallet. It’ll be a while before I’m using my left hand again.
